Websites to Track Security Breaches & Cyber Incidents

Cybersecurity Ventures’ Daily Threat Alerts

https://cybersecurityventures.com/intrusion-daily-cyber-threat-alert/

This site maintains a list of global cyberattacks, hacks, and data breaches. Its very frequently updated, provides a summary of the incident and a link to the source material.

Thanks to Tiffany Zorn for the recommendation!

European Repository of Cyber Incidents (EuRepoC)

https://eurepoc.eu/table-view/

This is maintained by a consortium involving German and Danish government agencies and universities. The site is great if you want to search for specific keywords (like “github”) or different types of cyber incidents (like “ransomware”) during a period.

Enforcement Tracker for GDPR fines

https://www.enforcementtracker.com

This is not exactly a site that tracks security incidents. But it’s more a database of all GDPR fines.

Breachsense’s Data Breach Tracker

https://www.breachsense.com/breaches

Maintained by Breachsense, the site curates a list of all data breaches and gives you the option to filter by year or month.

FireTail’s API Data Breach Tracker

https://www.firetail.ai/api-data-breach-tracker

OneTracker’s List of Threat feeds

https://onetracker.org/ti

My friend Jinto Antony manages the OneTracker.org website, where he curates and maintains threat intelligence feeds.

Breach HQ (no longer actively updated)

https://breach-hq.com

This was a really good website but its no longer updated – the last set of breach information you could see is till October 2024. The information was very well organized and unfortunately, I have not found anything as good.
