The beginning
I started this site as a place to collect and share the resources I’ve created throughout my career. Initially, it was just a simple CARRD site, as you can see here.
With time, however, I found that a Carrd site was also limiting. For example, I couldn’t add detailed descriptions or commentary on some of my templates. It was a good platform to start the journey.
From LinkedIn to a Dedicated Home
I also needed a space to back up the content I post on LinkedIn.
I often share useful information there, and it has unintentionally become a sort of secondary bookmark for me.
However, LinkedIn has its limitations—searching through old posts is a cumbersome process. I often find myself going through this roundabout way to first searching the keyword, then adding three different filters just to find something that I posted long time back.
Why WordPress?
I explored different options like Webflow, Jekyll and even developing my own site before finally settling down on WordPress.
With WordPress, I can spend less time configuring the website and more time focusing on writing and developing resources.
Who Is This For?
I write for people who work in IT, Information Security or IT Audits departments who are responsible for topics such governance, risk management, compliance, processes etc.
